Appearance of ice pick scars is totally different from other scars. When acne bursts sometimes it leaves a scar mark or other blemishes. These scar marks are under the upper layer of the skin. This scar is like a deep narrow ravine.

The most common treatment for the removal of ice pick scar is punch excision. Though there are many types of treatments but not a single treatment guarantees full removal of ice pick scar. But at least this treatment can make the skin look normal on the surface. In punch excision, a small tool is used and this tool is pressed on the scar and the scar is pulled away. And there will be a wound there.. But then these wounds are filled with skin glue or stitched and once it heals, the skin will look much better.
