Ice Pick Acne Scars That Causes My Face To Look Like It Is Being Poked Many Times By Sharp Objects
These days, due to the after effects of their acne problem, people are suffering from all types of acne scars like ice pick acne scars, box car scars, rolling scars and hypertrophic or keloid. And the most common of these is ice pick scar.
Many people are fed up of these scars and tried different ways to remove them. Naturally, ice pick scar got its name from the way it looks. It is a deep and narrow scar. The scar will make the person look like he was once attacked with an ice pick or any sharp thin instrument. Some people also describe that it looks like an enlarged pore. And unfortunately for some people, they have thousands of these scars on their face.
Appearance of ice pick scars is totally different from other scars. When acne bursts sometimes it leaves a scar mark or other blemishes. These scar marks are under the upper layer of the skin. There are only tissues running. When the upper most layer of the skin is lifted or peeled in a treatment, the end result is the deep and large scar called ice pick scar. This scar is like a deep narrow ravine.
The most common treatment for the removal of ice pick scar is punch excision. Though there are many types of treatments but not a single treatment guarantees full removal of ice pick scar. But at least this treatment can make the skin look normal on the surface. In punch excision, a small tool is used and this tool is pressed on the scar and the scar is pulled away. And there will be a wound there.. But then these wounds are filled with skin glue or stitched and once it heals, the skin will look much better.
